In my mandolins I aim for a rich, versatile and dynamic tone.
LR1
This is a flattop, flatback, roundhole mandolin. Tone is wide, bright, balanced and clear. This model has X-bracing and a small neck angle. Small angle means less downward pressure to the top which allows me to build it light and delicate.
Neck heel is integrated to the body, which helps upper neck playing.

AO1
This model is based on the famous A-model from early 1900s. There is a more complex middle range and projection than in a flat top model. I prefer X-bracing here.
You can choose between high or low top arching. Higher arch gives the mandolin a delicate and transparent sound as the low arch will give it power and crunch.

AR3
The outline of this model is similar to AO1. The top is a bit different. 3 soundholes allow a big, solid, vibrating surface. Bracing is done with 2 longitudinal bars.
Compared to the model with oval shape soundhole, AR3 gives a more compressed bass range. Trebles are very toneful and versatile and have a long sustain.
You can also choose the height of the top arching for this model.
Neck heel is intergrated to the body.
